The Laboratory of Nanoscience for Energy Technologies (LNET) is looking for a postdoctoral fellow with strong expertise in (photo)electrochemistry to contribute to the ongoing research effort in plasmonic photoelectrochemistry for solar energy storage, including CO2 reduction and solar redox flow batteries. Our interests cover both the unravelling of fundamental processes in plasmonic-driven chemistry through scanning electrochemical microscopy and the development of device-level demonstrations.
The candidate will lead the investigation of plasmon-driven CO2 reduction processes, with a special focus on light-controlled selectivity. The candidate will have the opportunity to gain new skills in nanophotonic engineering and optical spectroscopy. The candidate will have the opportunity to supervise both PhD students and junior researchers (BSc/MSc students).
We are a highly collaborative group and therefore we seek candidates with excellent team-work capabilities and interpersonal skills.
