The role holder will be responsible, together with a highly capable team, for driving forward innovative teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level, pioneering research, and dynamic business engagement initiatives. You will have a research track record and a convincing plan to complement and enhance the current research activities within the team and more broadly within the Division. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to liaise effectively with different stakeholders and collaborators within and outside the University to achieve School and University strategic objectives.
Candidates should have a PhD in Food Material Science or a closely aligned discipline, such as chemistry, physics, biochemistry, food science, pharmacy, material science, or chemical engineering’. Excellent English Language oral and written communication and presentation skills are essential. A postgraduate teaching qualification, or evidence of working towards one, would be desirable.
