Are you excited about what Exposome research can bring to better understand ageing with multi-morbidity? Would you like to pioneer approaches to making Exposome data FAIR? Then this postdoc position within our group might be for you! We are offering an exciting position in which we use and further develop existing FAIR infrastructures to study the impact of the Exposome on aging with multimorbidity and other health outcomes.
You’ll be conducting epidemiological analyses using cohort studies and exposome data (eg. geospatial and metabolomics data). At the same time, you will contribute to making the data, resources, and methods you work with Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable. You will work in a multi-disciplinary team that consists of Exposome researchers, data architects, data stewards, and IT specialists. Your position will be nested within two large-scale European projects: STAGE and IHEN.
As the ideal candidate for this position, you are enthusiastic and ambitious, an independent thinker, excellent writing skills, and a team player. You hold a PhD in (medical) statistics, epidemiology, data science, or a related discipline. Affinity with environmental health is valued. Furthermore, you have strong programming skills, and are comfortable working with large-scale data. You are willing to travel, have an appropriate publication record and are willing to apply for grant funding.
