Job description

This position will include the development of smart and sustainable energy technologies based on stimuli-responsive hybrid organic-inorganic materials, focusing on photovoltaics and memory elements. The project will predominantly involve hybrid materials, thin films, and their functional device fabrication and characterization. This will require the analysis of optoelectronic properties, as well as fabrication and characterization of functional devices for energy conversion, with application in photovoltaics and memory elements. The senior researcher will be provided with support in their research and professional development.

Who we are looking for

The applicant is expected to have the following qualifications:

  • A Ph.D. in Materials Science or Engineering, Physics, or a related field, preferably with a focus on Organic and/or Hybrid Electronics and/or Photovoltaics
  • Experience in optoelectronic device fabrication and characterization
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and oral)
  • Supervision and lab management experience are considered an advantage
  • Additional experience in materials chemistry is considered an advantage
  • Commitment to scientific integrity and willingness to work in a collaborative setting
