Job Description

Lead and coordinate individual projects. Be actively involved and proactive in research projects. Plan, conduct, and analyze experiments. Develop, optimize, validate and troubleshoot immunological assays and implement techniques to assess mechanisms of action in a timely manner. Excellent verbral and writing skills for documentation of data, summarize experiments, communicate results, and participate in conceptualize further steps in the development. Work collaboratively in a team environment with a high degree of self-motivation. No planned teaching duties for this position.

Qualifications

Ph.D. researcher with a medical research background. Experience in laboratory research with broad competence in various disciplines/methods. Well-versed in immunological methods such as flow cytometry, cell culture, isolation of cell populations from whole blood, IHC, protein expression, characterization of protein interactions, confocal microscopy and proteomics. Authored and published several articles in reputable journals.

Additional Qualifications

Experience outside academia will be considered. Good communication skills in English.
