A post-doctoral position is available immediately in the Laboratory of Molecular and Chemical Biology of Neurodegeneration at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland. The selected candidates will work on interdisciplinary and translational projects aimed at elucidating the molecular determinants and cellular pathways that trigger and regulate protein misfolding, aggregation, and propagation in cellular and animal models of neurodegenerative diseases.
The applicant must have a Ph.D. degree in biology and a strong track record of accomplishment in one of the following fields: molecular and/or cellular neurobiology and/or the development and characterization of cellular and animal models of neurological disorders. Applicants with research experience in protein homeostasis and signalling pathways are highly encouraged to apply.
We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic scientists. Excellent writing and communication skills are important. The ability to be a team player and interact with several groups is a must.
