Senior Lecturer in Water Quality in Agricultural Landscapes

Subject area

The academic subject area addresses water transport processes and water quality at field to landscape scales, with emphasis on land use management in agricultural systems.

Duties

The holder of the position is expected to:

  • Lead, develop and coordinate research within the research area;
  • Actively apply for research grants and other funding sources;
  • Develop and support teaching in the subject area at undergraduate, master and PhD levels;
  • Supervise PhD students Supervise and mentor other staff as required;
  • Collaborate actively for synergies and contributions within the department and at SLU;
  • Strengthen national and international networks with researchers, public and private sectors, and society in general;
  • Actively share research findings to wider public, practitioners and policy to take science into use;
  • Teach in Swedish within four years of taking up the position.

Qualifications

The applicant should:

  • have a completed doctorate;
  • have academic skills within the subject area;
  • have good knowledge of English;
  • have teaching proficiency.
