The School of Science is particularly interested in candidates with a strong focus on the synthesis and physicochemical characterization of Advanced Materials. In this context, interdisciplinary research is strongly encouraged. Ideal candidates combine experimental and computational approaches. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain a cutting-edge externally funded research program at the forefront of the field which complements existing research groups in the School of Science.
The successful candidate will conduct teaching in Chemistry and Advanced Materials Science (lectures and laboratory courses) at the BSc, MSc, and PhD level. They will be expected to take a pivotal role in the new MSc program “Advanced Materials” with their research experience and via the development and implementation of innovative, pedagogically sound approaches to online, hybrid and in-person teaching and learning. This will also include the advising of students on their studies, and the supervision of Bachelor, Master and PhD theses and research projects.
