Research Assistant - Precision Medicine and Targeted Cancer Treatment

Duties

The successful candidate will conduct hands-on laboratory research within a project focused on precision medicine and targeted cancer treatment. The candidate will perform and optimize experiments involving cell culture, cell engineering, molecular and cellular biology, drug screening, and drug-response assays, while investigating drug metabolism and cancer cell-specific vulnerabilities to identify novel therapeutic targets. The candidate will also contribute to the development and validation of experimental models for evaluating potential targeted therapies. The position involves close collaboration with other researchers and members of the research team and requires a strong commitment to hands-on laboratory work. This is a fully on-site position with no option for remote work.

Requirements

  • Holds a master’s degree in molecular biology, cancer biology, or a related field.
  • Have strong skills in cell culture and other relevant wet-lab techniques; experience in cell engineering, cancer biology, drug screening, or drug metabolism is highly desirable.
  • Have a strong passion for hands-on laboratory research and enthusiasm for spending time conducting experiments in the laboratory.
  • Be able to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary research team.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken), with strong teamwork, communication, and mentoring skills.

Additional qualifications

  • Experience with animal/in vivo research would be considered an additional advantage.
  • Previous experience in precision oncology, targeted therapy, pharmacology, or cancer drug development would be highly advantageous.
