JOB DESCRIPTION:

CIC energiGUNE is seeking a Team Leader in Applied Cell Engineering & Process Intelligence. The person will lead a customer-facing applied team that translates CIC energiGUNE’s capabilities in materials, electrode processing, prototyping, testing, digital manufacturing and modelling into industrially relevant battery solutions.

• Progressive development of prismatic cell design know-how, complementing current pouch and cylindrical cell capabilities.

• A clearer pathway from CIC energiGUNE technologies to industrial adoption.

Requirements

• PhD, D.Eng or EngDin Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related fields.
• More than 10 years of direct R&D experience in the field of Li-ion and Na-ion battery research.
• More than 5 years of experience managing technical and commercial relationships with OEM and other industrial clients across Europe, Asia, and the United States
• Proven track record in translating fundamental research into applied solutions,
• We expect high readiness to work with strong engagement and creativity in an interdisciplinary and international environment.
• High level of English.
• Spanish would be also highly valuated.
