The Department of Theoretical Biology at the institute is looking to recruit a Group Leader in Theoretical Biology (m/f/d) to strengthen and complement the research done within the department. We use mathematics and computational methods to study biological processes.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a PhD and first postdoctoral experience in theoretical biology, applied mathematics, theoretical physics, or a related area, and a strong research record supported by peer-reviewed publications. In addition, we ask for excellent analytical and computational skills, and a strong interest in working at the interface between evolutionary biology and theoretical biology.
