Duties and responsibilities

• Teaching cloud computing related courses at the Bachelor’s and Master’s level.
• Supervising Bachelor's and Master's students.
• Participation in research and development activities of the Internet of Things lab.
• Popularisation of the specialization.

Required qualifications

• Master's degree or an equivalent qualification.

Required experience

• Candidates are expected to have teaching experience at the bachelor’s and/or master's levels in the field of cloud computing.
• Good knowledge of Cloud Computing and Internet of Things.
• Practical experience in Kubernetes, scaling of cloud applications, microcontrollers, predictive maintenance, Smart City fields.
• Research experience in cloud computing, edge computing, and Internet of Things domains.
• Experience in supervising students and conducting e-learning.

Required language skills

Excellent command of English is required. According to the Language Act, academic staff with foreign citizenship working in Estonia must have acquired at least B1-level Estonian language skills after five years of work. This requirement will be added to the contract. The Centre for Professional Development offers foreigners and their family members the opportunity to participate in Estonian language courses.
