We are looking for an experienced AI/ML Researcher to lead high-quality, industry-relevant research in machine learning and signal processing.
You will work in a team with strong connections to international academic and industry partners.
Your leadership responsibilities include:
- Developing AI/ML models to analyze data and solve real-world problems, such as in computer vision or signal processing;
- Designing experiments to rigorously compare your methods with relevant baselines;
- Acquiring, managing, and executing research projects with industrial and academic partners, in close collaboration with team members;
- Publishing results in peer-reviewed international conferences and scientific journals.
Your profile:
- PhD in Computer Science or a related field such as Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Mechatronics, or Physics;
- At least 4 years of practical experience in AI/ML and data science, ideally applied to real-world problems;
- Strong understanding of vision data and processing;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail;
- Proficiency in Python and its data science ecosystem (e.g., scikit-learn, PyTorch);
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Collaborative, self-motivated, and goal-oriented;
- Fluent in English; German is an advantage.
