Description (field, expectations, comments):

The competition is open to persons who meet the conditions set out in Article 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 - Law on higher education and science (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668) and the following qualification criteria:

• PhD degree in physics,
• a track record in achievements in research (publications, conference presentations etc.),
• research experience in the following fields: open quantum systems, quantum information, entanglement theory, operator algebras,
• numerical skills in Mathematica and/or Python (advantageous),
• motivation to conduct research and to turn challenges to opportunities,
• independence in doing research and strong interest in the topic (quantum dynamical maps, quantum information, entanglement theory, operator algebras),
• developed written and verbal communication skills (English required, Polish not required),
• willingness to work in a research team.

Research position within the NCN project „Classical and quantum superchannels: modelling, analysis, and applications".

The candidate must meet the requirements set by the NCN (National Science Centre), in particular, hold a PhD degree obtained no earlier than 12 years before January 1 of the year of employment in the project (this period may be extended in the case of career breaks as specified by the NCN).
