Biochemistry Analyst

As a Biochemistry Analyst will serve as a laboratory support analyst within the client environment to support their technical and analytical tasks, to work to the highest standards in terms of quality and professionalism.

Job Responsibilities that you be covering:

  • You will perform analytical and biochemical testing in line with pharmacopeial, regulatory and corporate standards, ensuring work is completed efficiently and accurately.
  • You will generate, interpret and report data within required timelines to support batch release and stability programmes.
  • You will manage quality documentation, staying up to date with SOPs and contributing to their writing and revision when needed.
  • You will support laboratory equipment upkeep, including correct use, calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • You will conduct investigations into deviations, out‑of‑specification results and other quality events, documenting findings appropriately.
  • You will manage laboratory samples, coordinating receipt, tracking and distribution while developing expertise in assigned analytical techniques.

Qualifications:

What skills, qualifications and experiences you will hold as an Biochemistry Analyst:

  • You will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biology or a related scientific field, with a solid understanding of analytical or stability testing.
  • You will bring laboratory experience, demonstrating competence in routine scientific practices and quality‑focused work.
  • You will have working knowledge of key analytical techniques, such as HPLC (SEC/RP), Capillary SDS/IEF, Residual Moisture, pH, Turbidity, UV, Sub‑Visible Particulate Analysis, MDI or ELISA; experience in Sample Management is advantageous.
  • You will be familiar with LIMS systems, using them effectively for data entry, tracking and documentation.
  • You will demonstrate strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, compliance and high‑quality output.
  • You will show the ability to learn and develop expertise, adapting quickly to new techniques, systems and procedures.
