Research Associate in the Enzymatic Production of Natural Products

Your area of responsibility
The work involves the biosynthesis of selected natural compounds from the class of lipids. This requires identifying the genes and enzymes involved in the key steps and, where necessary, optimizing them for practical application. In addition, the activity of the relevant enzymes will be characterized using chromatographic methods.
Your profile
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in life sciences or chemical-pharmaceutical sciences;
- Knowledge of molecular biology and protein chemistry;
- Knowledge of analytical methods (HPLC, TLC) is preferred;
- Willingness to engage in interdisciplinary work;
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
