Job Description
The purpose of this job is to carry out scientific test procedures on customers’ samples and produce accurate results within an acceptable time frame using company procedures.
- Perform routine and non-routine analysis with accuracy and efficiency.
- Complete test records on time, ensuring compliance with SOPs and regulatory standards.
- Identify opportunities for quality and service improvement; contribute to continuous improvement projects.
- Adhere to GMP guidelines and internal quality standards; ensure all activities are documented and traceable.
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis and prepare exception reports.
- Gain proficiency in assigned tests/areas of testing; maintain training records.
- Provide training to colleagues in techniques/tests where competency is proven.
- Provide cover for colleagues as required.
- Participate in weekend rota, overtime, and On-Call/Call-out schedules.
- Ensure customer requirements are met; demonstrate flexibility to work across business areas.
Qualifications
Experience/Skills
- Prior GMP experience preferred.
- A degree or diploma in a Scientific discipline.
- Water testing & EM techniques.
- Good team player, organised, accurate, have strong documentation skills.
- Passionate about quality and customer service.
- Good communication skills both internally and externally.
