Post-doc Position - ALICE 3 Outer Tracker Project

Your Tasks
- Design of the electronics for the ALICE Outer Tracker readout system;
- Verification and Characterization of prototypes in lab tests and particle beam experiments;
- Leadership role within the project: represent the interests of MBI towards the ALICE Outer Tracker project in daily exchanges with international collaborators;
- Supervision of Bachelor, Master and PhD students.
Your Profile
- PhD degree in physics with a strong background in electronics (or vice versa);
- Previous postdoctoral positions in the domain are strongly desirable;
- Solid background in experimental particle physics;
- Experience in solid-state detector R&D, field programmable gate array (FPGA) programming, and electronics;
- Skills in Cadence application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) design flow, printed circuit board (PCB) design, software and simulations for electronic circuits and device simulations, and knowledge of the interactions of particles with matter are desirable.
