Junior Scientist/Scientist - In Vitro ADME

Key Responsibilities
The ADME scientists design and perform various in vitro assays, followed by high-throughput LC-MS/MS analysis and finally interpret results to support decision-making before progressing to in vivo studies. Team efforts focus on rapid ADME profiling of large numbers of test compounds by implementing laboratory automation, creating rapid LC separations and mass spectrometry workflows to accelerate data delivery without compromising quality.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Performance of in vitro studies (manually and/or using automated handling stations) including sample prep, method development and LC-MS/MS analysis
- Interpretation and reporting of the results obtained in in vitro ADME studies
- Carry out routine laboratory tasks independently, producing consistent and reliable results
- Troubleshoot experimental procedures and LC-MS/MS instrumentation as needed
- Support laboratory investigations, resolve assay-related issues, and address quality observations with limited oversight
- Ensure the scientific integrity of studies through careful documentation and review
- Contribute to daily lab operations, including equipment maintenance and compliance with safety standards
- Collaborate effectively across teams to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality data
- Engage in ongoing professional development and skill-building
Your Background
To be successful in this role we are looking for individuals who can demonstrate the following:
- Graduate degree in analytical chemistry, chemistry, chemical technology, pharmacy or biotechnology
- PhD in analytical chemistry advantageous
- Experience using or knowledge of LC-MS/MS techniques and sample preparation techniques
- Computing skills, including word processing and use of spreadsheets (e.g., Microsoft Office packages and Microsoft Project)
