Postdoctoral Researcher in Cancer Genomics

What you will do
As a postdoctoral researcher, you will:
- Analyse multiomic long-read and single-cell data from patient samples to develop novel biological insights;
- Contribute to recently funded projects on genomically complex sarcomas and somatic mosaicism with opportunities to develop your own research;
- Develop and apply computational tools and workflows for integrating multimodal datasets;
- Collaborate effectively across disciplines—working with clinicians, biologists, and data scientists;
- Present your work at international conferences and publish in high-visibility journals.
Who we are looking for
We are seeking a motivated computational biologist with a passion for cancer genomics and a drive to tackle complex biological questions.
Essential:
- PhD (or studying towards a PhD) in computational biology, bioinformatics, genomics, statistics, physics, or a related quantitative field;
- Demonstrated ability to analyse large-scale sequencing data using R, Python or equivalent;
- A self-motivated team player who thrives in a collaborative international environment;
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
Nice to have:
- Experience with cancer genomics, single-cell analysis, or long-read sequencing data;
- Familiarity with high-performance computing environments;
- Track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals.
