The successful candidate will collaboratively apply and develop proteomic approaches to study the protein composition of organelles at the nanoscale level to unravel how cellular organelle networks are rewired in response to physiological or pathophysiological stimuli. The project will be conducted jointly with the 'Structural Interactomics Group' led by Prof. Fan Liu (https://www.theliulab.com) at FMP. The position is to be filled as soon as possible and initially limited to two years.
The main focus of the Haucke lab is on the endolysosomal system that we study at multiple levels of analysis using a combination of biochemical/structural biological, genetic, and cell biological approaches [Lo et al Haucke, Nat Chem Biol 19, 18-27; Ebner et al Haucke, V. (2023) Cell 186, 5328-5346. doi: 10.1016/j.cell.2023.09.027; Lo et al Haucke (2022) Nat Struct Mol Biol. 29, 218- 228; Jang et al Haucke, V. (2022) Science 378, eabq5209. We seek highly motivated, ambitious, and talented young scientists to join an enthusiastic and collaborative team in an outstanding scientific environment to perform research.
