Are you passionate about pushing the boundaries of physical-organic, supramolecular chemistry, and cell biology? The Nau Research Group at Constructor University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher (m/f/d) to join our dynamic, international team starting on April 1, 2026.

Our research is positioned at the exciting interface of physical-organic and supramolecular chemistry. We develop innovative supramolecular assemblies for applications in sensing, catalysis, and biological systems.

Our project's span

• Synthesis and optical-spectroscopic characterization of novel organic-inorganic hybrids;
• Fluorescent dyes, chemosensors, and assays;
• Exploring supramolecular interactions in aqueous environments;
• Applications in drug delivery and catalysis using host-guest complexes;
• Membrane transport studies using artificial vesicles and live cells.

Your profile

We are looking for a talented and creative researcher with the following qualifications:

• PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field;
• Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals;
• Expertise in organic chemistry or biochemistry, or mass spectrometry;
• Proficient in NMR, HPLC, UV-vis, fluorescence spectroscopy;
• Familiarity with supramolecular chemistry;
• Hands-on experience with cellular assays would be advantageous;
• Proficiency in written and spoken English;
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and teamworking abilities; experience supervising students is an asset;
• Interest to contribute to teaching.
