As a full professor in pharmacology, you will lead innovative research bridging fundamental pharmacological mechanisms with clinical and translational applications. You guide your research group and play an active role in shaping both the scientific and educational direction of our department. You are committed to teaching, using your expertise to bring core pharmacological concepts to life and to inspire students through research-based and active learning strategies.
This position offers an approximate 50/50 balance between research and teaching. You will work in a collaborative academic environment with excellent research facilities and strong opportunities for interdisciplinary partnership.
You will be embedded in the Division of Pharmacology, part of the Utrecht Institute for Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS), the renowned research centre of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
You are an ambitious and collaborative academic with a solid foundation in both qualitative and quantitative approaches to pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics. Your international research experience ideally aligns with one or more of the following areas: Neuro- and psychopharmacology, Immunopharmacology, and/or Experimental pharmacology.
