About the Role

As a DP Project Lead, you will represent the Pharmaceutical Development Sciences department in cross-functional project teams (TST), covering all UCB NCE and NBE candidates from clinical development to commercialization and lifecycle management.

Who You Will Work With

You will collaborate closely with other project leads, technical experts within CMC Development Sciences, and the UCB community across various functions and organizations to ensure the delivery of cross-functional activities with quality and on time.

What You Will Do

• You will be responsible for drug product development for one or more projects, depending on project complexity and development phase.
• You will represent the PDS department during TST and internal and external meetings, liaising with key stakeholders.
• You will define and implement the integrated drug product development strategy in line with the overall TST, CMC and department strategy.
• You will lead a drug product sub-team of technical subject matter experts for assigned projects.
• You will facilitate detailed technical discussions within the drug product sub-team.
• You will co-develop integrated functional project strategies and plans for drug products from early development to launch.

Interested?

For this role, we are looking for the following education, experience, and skills:

• Master's degree in pharmaceutical sciences or a related field (Ph.D. is a plus).
• Excellent knowledge and experience in NBE or NCE formulation and/or process development.
• Good knowledge of regulatory and quality requirements for drug products at different clinical phases.
• Strong project management skills to coordinate and prioritize activities to meet timelines and deliverables.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex information concisely.
• Team player with an open and collaborative mindset, capable of coaching and mentoring technical experts.
