Job description
The Laboratory of Interneuron Developmental Dynamics, led by Dr. Lynette Lim at the VIB-KU Leuven Center for Brain & Disease Research, is recruiting an outstanding Postdoctoral Fellow to explore the developmental logic of inhibitory circuits in the brain.
Focus: Understanding how cortical interneurons are generated, matured, and assembled into functional circuits - and how their disruption contributes to neurological and neurodegenerative diseases.
Profile
- A PhD holder (or final-year PhD candidate) in Neuroscience, Biology, or a related field;
- The first author of at least one peer-reviewed research article from your PhD;
- Skilled in experimental neurobiology and molecular biology; experience with in vivo models, imaging, or stem cell systems is a plus;
- Motivated, resilient, and excited to grow as a project leader and independent thinker.
