Postdoc in Computational Biology

You will
- Employ new computational strategies to decode distuption of cellular identity in human diseases;
- Analyze bulk, single-cell, spatial and multi-omics datasets;
- Lead projects on gene regulatory mechanisms that contribute to the development and disease;
- Support research and development activities within the group;
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of research activities;
- Support the group leader in everyday routines including training new group members;
- Support the group leader in grant applications and management;
- Collaborate with internal and external partners;
- Engage in teaching as required.
Required Qualifications
- PhD in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Bio-engineering, or equivalent;
- Excellent track record in Bioinformatics with at least one first-author publication, accepted or submitted;
- Experience with machine learning is a plus (e.g., Tensorflow/Keras/PyTorch);
- Experience with software containers and/or NextFlow is a plus;
- Programming experience is required (Python, R);
- Strong analytical, organizational, and record-keeping skills;
- Interest in working in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team;
- Willing to collaborate with internal and external collaborators as well as support group members;
- Experience and interest in teaching.
