Your project

Oversee the design, development, building, and testing of the next generation of ESIBD instrument capable of generating, preserving, and landing exotic molecular ions for single molecule imaging on surfaces.

We seek someone who is

Curious, enthusiastic, team oriented, fluent and articulate in oral and written English, a holder of PhD in Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent. We prioritize candidates with experience in building instruments, softwares, and electronics of mass spectrometry, molecular beam, and/or gas-phase ion spectroscopy instruments. Knowledge/skill in physical chemistry, ultrahigh vacuum systems, native electrospray, nozzle design, hardware programming, and/or ion optics design is advantageous.
