Saarbrücken, Germany
JOB DESCRIPTION
The INM Research Department Innovative Electron Microscopy is currently looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher in the field of materials science with a strong background in scanning transmission electron microscopy.
The PostDoc position is part of the E-MOSAIC project, which is focused on the development of electron microscopy approaches for the characterization of hybrid materials and their interfaces at the nano and atomic scale. As a member of the project team, you will apply 4D-STEM techniques for resolving the nanoscale and atomic structure of hybrid interfaces and understanding the role they play in the studied systems.
YOUR PROFILE
- You are a highly motivated and enthusiastic person, who can work independently and collaborate efficiently with other members of the institute;
- You have a PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics or a closely related discipline and proven experience in scanning transmission electron microscopy. Additional experience in 4D-STEM techniques and/or electron microscopy analysis of beam-sensitive materials would be advantageous;
