Principal Scientist - Device & Packaging Developement Testing

What you’ll do:

• Ensure laboratory activities are performed in a safe manner and laboratory infrastructure is ready-to-use when needed;
• Define and dispense trainings associated with use of equipment and infrastructure;
• Design, ensure manufacturing and validate holders and fixtures to enable testing of primary packaging (e.g. vials, PFS) and combination product components (e.g. syringes, pens);
• Perform technological watch in order to expand the testing capability of the laboratory by e.g. interacting with equipment suppliers;
• Develop and maintain associated processes (e.g. SOPs);
• Provide expert support on equipment and infrastructure related aspects in case of unexpected event.

What we’re looking for:

• BSc or MSc in mechanical engineering, metrology or related field;
• Work experience with design of pharmaceutical equipment or commissioning/qualification of GMP equipment and infrastructure;
• Team player willing to evolve in a highly multidisciplinary and multicultural environment;
• Good communication skills, proactive, flexible and hands-on;
• Fluency in written and spoken English, German is a big plus.
