Scientist/Postdoc: Proteomics

You will be responsible for:

• Planning and performing proteome and phosphoproteome analyses as part of the joint project: HI-FIVE – GRK5 inhibitors for the treatment of various heart failure entities;
• Continuous development of existing methods and procedures for use in the joint project;
• Training and supervision of a technical assistant;
• Documentation of laboratory work;
• Collaboration with other project partners and regular presentation of results.

Your profile:

• PhD degree in a scientific field (e.g. biology, chemistry, physics) or related subject;
• Experience in a laboratory environment, ideally in the field of bioanalytics;
• Knowledge of mass spectrometry-based proteomics research, planning and conducting experiments, in particular interpreting measurement data;
• Strong communication skills, organisational talent and a solution-oriented way of working;
• Confident use of MS Office;
• Willingness to travel on business;
• Very good written and spoken English; German an advantage.
