Scientist/Postdoc: Preclinical Metabolomics

You will be responsible for:
- Studying the development and metabolism of lymph nodes through melanoma metastasis;
- Biochemical and histopathological characterization of tumor cells in tissues using chemical and fluorescence staining;
- Handling in vivo and in vitro models to test research hypothesis and refine study designs;
- Studying small molecule metabolite alterations of tumorous material by mass spectrometry imaging;
- Quantification of corresponding metabolites using liquid chromatography mass spectrometry;
- Data analysis of sequencing and microscopy data;
- Data analysis of mass spectrometry data.
Your profile:
- PhD in Biology, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry or related subjects;
- Good understanding of tools such cell cultures, histopathology, microscopy, and/or chromatography;
- Hands-on experience with mass spectrometers is a plus;
- Excellent English communication and writing skills;
- Basic understanding of cancer biology is preferable.
