(Sr.) Scientist - Development of Injectables and Implants for the Delivery of Active Pharmaceuticals

For our Biomedical business, we are looking for an experienced (Sr.) Scientist. Join our Innovation team and work on the development of injectables and implants for the delivery of active pharmaceuticals.
Your key responsibilities
- Lead the development of innovative pharmaceutical formulations, including long-acting injectables and implants and Manage and mentor junior scientists and technicians, fostering a collaborative and innovative research environment.
- Design and optimize drug delivery formulations, ensuring desired performance and Develop and validate analytical methods for the characterization of pharmaceutical formulations.
- Contribute to the technical ideation and execution of internal developments and customer-funded projects by Conducting research on novel and existing excipients and formulation techniques to enhance drug bioavailability and patient compliance.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in pharmaceutical sciences and incorporate relevant findings into ongoing projects and Prepare and review technical documents, including research reports, regulatory submissions, and patent applications.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and quality standards throughout the formulation development process.
You bring
- University degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related field, preferably a PhD with a minimum of 3 years of industrial experience in drug delivery formulation, or Master's degree with a minimum of 7 years of industrial experience in drug delivery formulation.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical sciences and formulation principles and Expertise in extended-release and long-acting injectable & implantable formulations.
- Experience with drug delivery systems, with small molecules and biologics.
