  • Provide expert knowledge in GPCR biology, focusing on GPCR/G-protein interactions and ligand pharmacology;
  • Independently design, execute, and interpret cellular functional assays for profiling and classifying ligands based on their mode of stimulation;
  • Develop and apply fluorescence and luminescence assays with continuous kinetic readout on FLIPR or FDSS workstations;
  • Perform ligand screening in HTS mode and ligand profiling experiments;
  • Utilize cell culture techniques and select relevant cell lines;
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards for screening, profiling, and characterization of ligand–GPCR binding;
  • Maintain thorough documentation of work according to internal guidelines and customer requirements using a laboratory management system (LIMS).

Your profile

  • Ph.D. in cell biology, pharmacology, biochemistry, or a related field, with a strong focus on membrane protein signaling;
  • At least 3 years of experience in a drug discovery environment, covering the process from screening to lead identification;
  • Deep understanding of GPCR pharmacology and G-protein interactions;
  • Hands-on experience with FLIPR or FDSS workstations;
  • Proven expertise in other fluorescence- and luminescence-based GPCR assay technologies, such as TR-FRET, FRET, nanoBRET;
