At LUMC, as a Postdoctoral Researcher in Chromatin Biology, you contribute to bridging fundamental research with clinical applications. You will focus on investigating the genetic aspects of BAFopathies within a ZonMw-funded project. Your work will involve advanced techniques such as CRISPR and long-read sequencing. You will be part of an international team of dedicated researchers, working together to push the scientific boundaries in this field.
Within this ZonMw PSIDER Top grant project, your focus will be on understanding dosage sensitivity in BAFopathies—developmental syndromes caused by mutations in the BAF chromatin remodeling complex, among the most common causes of intellectual disability.
You are an enthusiastic and driven researcher with a completed (or nearly completed) PhD in molecular biology or a related field. You know how to apply your knowledge effectively within an ambitious, international team, where collaboration, autonomy, and clear communication are essential. You thrive in a dynamic research environment and enjoy contributing to collective success.
