Job Description

We are seeking a motivated, dedicated, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Laboratory Associate. In this role, you will work closely with postdoctoral researchers and PhD students to conduct both animal (mice) and cell culture experiments, assist in data collection and analysis (histology, molecular biology) as well as support laboratory management. You will collaborate with team members to optimize experimental workflows, troubleshoot problems, and achieve project objectives.

Profile

• You hold a degree in Biomedical Sciences, Biology, Chemistry (Professional Bachelor/Master/Engineer) or equivalent;
• You are well organized and able to accurately document your work;
• You are able to work independently and perform well in a team;
• You are proficient in written and spoken English;
• You have previous laboratory experience;
• You are meticulous, proactive, and self-motivated;
• You are eager to expand your skills in new technologies;
• You are passionate about science;
• A FELASA B license for animal work is an advantage;
• Experience with cell culture, molecular biology, and/or histology is an asset;
• Experience in mouse experimental work is an asset.
