Key Responsibilities

• Designs, plans and executes scientific concepts to defend and grow the skin actives and vitamins portfolio
• Collaborates with marketing and sales teams to provide multiple level R&D support
• leading R&D projects within the biology applied science group of Beauty and Care
• Generates new scientific data packages for the claim substantiation of our product portfolio (skin actives, hair actives, vitamins)
• Designs, coordinates and executes scientific studies of in vitro biology and in vivo efficacy to achieve aligned product claims Contribute to customized clinical studies
• Represents R&D in multidisciplinary teams
• Writes claim substantiation reports and publications, prepares presentations and participates at trade shows
• Supporting the regional teams as R&D expert in customized projects and at customer visits
• Interacts with global and regional business teams, provides scientific support and trainings
• Answer to technical product related questions

You bring

• Master degree or Ph.D. in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or a related field
• Experience and solid expertise in biological sciences with passion and creativity in scientific research
• Several years of professional work experience in an industrial environment is preferred
• Preferably experience in the skin actives and vitamins
• Experience in the collaboration with marketing and sales with a keen interest to achieve business goals
• Additional expertise in portfolio management or technical marketing or product management preferred
• Strong team player with excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to build up and maintain a network with internal and external expert centers
• Good command of English, both spoken and written, German would be an asset
