The Messerli Research Institute is dedicated to researching the human-animal relationship and its foundations in the fields of animal cognition and behaviour, comparative medicine, and the ethics of the human-animal relationship. We are looking for a highly qualified independent scientist in the field of immunology and immunometabolism with enthusiasm for interdisciplinary and collaborative research, and commitment to teaching.
The candidate is expected to have an outstanding expertise in experimental immunology with translational impact. We are particularly looking for candidates pursuing cutting-edge research in immunometabolism on both the cellular and organ level. The ideal candidate expands and cross-links with existing strengths within our university such as e.g. immunology and inflammation biology, metabolism, cancer and clinical sciences and within the Messerli Research Institute of Human Animal Interactions and is expected to share her:his time and commitment at both institutions.
