What to expect:
- Supervision of existing and development of new projects in the field of metabolic physiology, immune defence and disease prevention as well as ontogenetic development in farm animals, preferably ruminants;
- Carrying out animal experiments on livestock;
- Data analysis, statistical evaluation;
- Independent acquisition of third-party funding in the field of metabolic and performance physiology or animal health;
- Supervision of doctoral students as well as Master and Bachelor students;
- Publication activities.
What to bring:
- Graduation and doctorate in the field of animal science/veterinary medicine/agricultural science;
- Habilitation or comparable performance in the field of animal science/veterinary medicine with a focus on animal physiology/nutritional physiology;
- Outstanding publication record in the last 5 years;
- Significant national and international networking in the field of farm animal physiology/metabolic physiology.
