What to expect:

  • Supervision of existing and development of new projects in the field of metabolic physiology, immune defence and disease prevention as well as ontogenetic development in farm animals, preferably ruminants;
  • Carrying out animal experiments on livestock;
  • Data analysis, statistical evaluation;
  • Independent acquisition of third-party funding in the field of metabolic and performance physiology or animal health;
  • Supervision of doctoral students as well as Master and Bachelor students;
  • Publication activities.

What to bring:

  • Graduation and doctorate in the field of animal science/veterinary medicine/agricultural science;
  • Habilitation or comparable performance in the field of animal science/veterinary medicine with a focus on animal physiology/nutritional physiology;
  • Outstanding publication record in the last 5 years;
  • Significant national and international networking in the field of farm animal physiology/metabolic physiology.
