Postdoctoral Scientist - Structural Studies - Dr Kelly Nguyen - LMB 2592

We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral scientist to join Kelly Nguyen’s group to study the roles of histones in regulating human telomerase using an integrated cell biology, biochemical and structural approach.

The successful applicant will have a PhD (or due to complete within 6 months) in Structural Biology or related field with a strong background in mammalian cell culture, protein expression and purification and cryo-electron microscopy. Prior experience in protein/nucleic acid biochemistry would be beneficial. We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious scientist keen to work on a challenging project with good communication skills to join our friendly and supportive team.

This is a three-year training and development position suitable for you if you have recently completed your doctoral studies, or you are looking to move into a new research discipline and/or need to further develop your research skills.
