The position
We seek outstanding, interactive candidates with a strong publication record and an innovative research profile in RNA BIOLOGY, including RNA-protein interactions, RNA processing, RNA modifications, regulatory RNA, R-loops and RNA therapeutics.
As the successful candidate, you will have opportunities to network with the following research initiatives in Mainz: the RTG 4R on “R-loop regulation in robustness and resilience”, the CRC/TransRegio TRR319 on “RNA Modification and Processing”, the CRC on “Regulation of DNA repair and genome stability”, the CRC on “Cellular function driven by polymer concepts”, the Centre for Healthy Ageing, the profile area ReALity (Resilience, Adaptation & Longevity; and the RTG GenEvo on “Gene regulation in evolution”.
Requirements
- PhD in a relevant field of biology;
- Strong publication record.
