Areas of particular interest include, but are not limited to, the development of new methods for characterisation of molecules or materials, potentially in relation to applications in quantum sensing and information processing, molecular magnetism, spin chemistry, renewable energy conversion and storage, or sustainable chemical production.

As a faculty member of the School of Basic Sciences, the successful candidate is expected to initiate and develop a creative research program at the forefront of the discipline.
