Mission
The Chair of Number Theory at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) invites applications for one or more postdoctoral researcher positions. We seek outstanding candidates working in either one of the following areas : the theory of automorphic forms, applications of automorphic forms to harmonic analysis and differential equations, optimal configurations of points in geometric spaces with focus on packing problems.
Main duties and responsibilities/Profile
- Candidates should have (or be near completion of) a PhD in mathematics.
- This is a 1-year appointment, with the possibility to extend for up to 4-th year contingent upon satisfactory performance and availability of funding.
- Knowledge of French is not a requirement.
