YOUR FUTURE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Technology development for RF-based magnetic devices, specifically circulators, from concept to prototype;
  • Collaborate with process engineers to develop magnetic devices fabrication processes in an R&D clean room facility;
  • Microfabrication and prototyping in cleanroom facility from small size samples up to 200 mm wafer level technology;
  • Advanced characterization and testing of developed RF devices (electrical, structural, magnetic, …);
  • Scientific communication, reporting of research results, documentation, generating new intellectual property including patent applications, writing of proposals.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Master 5 years of relevant working experience/PhD in relevant field (education in magnetics, spintronics, high-frequency, physics, microtechnology or similar fields);
  • Microfabrication experience in cleanroom, preferably for magnetics-based or RF-based devices;
  • Experience in with characterization of magnetic devices; characterization of RF devices is a strong plus;
  • Proficiency in English, German is a plus;
  • A team player with good communication skills;
  • Genuine interest in applied research, industrial applications, and scientific progress;
  • Willingness to relocate to Austria/Villach.
