Early detection of disease is a key factor to improve treatment outcome and reduce healthcare costs. The successful candidate will contribute to our preclinical testing of novel optoacoustic sensing platforms for early detection of cardio-metabolic diseases, as part of our highly impactful research programs funded by European and national grants. You will lead and conduct measurements in animal models, data acquisition, tissue staining, microscopy, and data analysis. The results of your work are expected to greatly impact society, improving the quality of life of patients world-wide and yielding a vast potential for commercial exploitation.
