The Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon (FMUL) announces the opening of a vacancy for Dean.
The Dean is elected by the Board of School and is the top governing body and external representation of the Faculty.
Professors and/or researchers from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Lisbon, from another units of the University of Lisbon, or from national and foreign education or research institutions can apply.
The Dean must be an academic personality of undisputed prestige, with experience in management functions in similar institutions of higher education or research, endowed with adequate strategic vision to pursue modernization policy of the School of Medicine at the University of Lisbon and opening to Society in a collegial environment, inclusion of diversity of all its members.
Applications should be directed until 17 June 2022, in Portuguese, to the President of the Board of School, with a (i) Curriculum Vitae, (ii) declaration of incompatibilities and (iii) an action programme.
