The Georg Winter Lab at CeMM, the Research Center for Molecular Medicine of the Austrian Academy of Sciences in Vienna, is recruiting a highly motivated Technical Assistant who is excited to work with us on the identiﬁcation and development of novel therapeutic strategies for the treatment of cancers.
We are an international and multi-disciplinary research lab. When you work with us, you will work in a team of molecular biologists, biochemists, computer scientists and medicinal chemists. Most of our projects are enabled by high-throughput technologies such as genome-wide CRISPR/Cas9 screens, proteomics, phenotypic drug screens, RNA-sequencing and related transcriptional readouts. The setup in our group is interdisciplinary, diverse and inclusive. This fosters an environment that is required for the generation of innovate ideas and novel concepts that are needed to advance therapeutic strategies for the treatment of cancer.
We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic candidates to join our team. The successful applicant should have a Master’s degree in life sciences and an excellent background in molecular biology or biochemistry. Candidates that have a PhD degree will also be considered. Prior experience in a wet- lab setting is an advantage. The selected candidate will contribute to diﬀerent projects in the lab and support and oversee the general organization of the lab.
