Job description

The candidate will:

  • Develop and qualify manufacturing processes linked to passive components assembly with SMD or CMS technologies;
  • Conduct Design Of Experiments (DOE) linked to development studies, and analyze results, with minutes of reports;
  • Carry on tests in laboratory or on manufacturing equipment for new product developments;
  • Participate to the qualification plans definition, bring expertise on the process knowledge, able to guide on solder choice, and knowledge on the types of capacitances, resistors, LED;
  • bring technical expertise during customer technical discussions to help solving technical challenges;
  • be able to guide and train new line operators, and give support to Manufacturing department during the ramp-up phase;
  • work on altenative processes and/or to study the current process weaknesses;
  • be the technical referent to ensure high productivity and yield control.

Desired profile

  • Good knowledge on assembly processes back-end (pick&place, reflow, class PCB, assembly control technics, encapsulation, electrical testing...);
  • Knowledgeable on Design of Experiment practices;
  • Good experience on development and optimization of assembly processes back-end, CMS, in demanding application (defense, aeronautics, electronics high end);
  • Able to work in clean room environment;
  • Open to communicate, willing to face the customer when required, good team worker with other departments of the company.
