About the team/job

The Global Alliance for Genomics and Health (GA4GH) brings together hundreds of contributors working in healthcare, research, patient advocacy, life science, and information technology to create standards to enable the responsible, voluntary, and secure sharing of genomic and related health data with the aim of accelerating the application of genomics in healthcare.

Within GA4GH, eight Work Streams drive the standards development work to meet the specific needs of real world clinical and genomics data sharing projects. GA4GH's work is supported by staff at four diverse international host institutions: the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, the Wellcome Sanger Institute, the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research (OICR) and EMBL-EBI.

Your role

The primary responsibility of the Work Stream Manager based at EMBL-EBI, will be to provide management support for two to three GA4GH Work Streams. The Work Stream Manager role provides critical support to the Work Streams, and works closely with the Work Stream leads, contributors, other GA4GH staff and external organisations, such as other international Standards Development Organisations (SDOs).
