The EMBL's European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI) is seeking a Research Support Officer to assist the Service Team Leaders leading EMBL-EBI's resources with overall scientific management.
The Research Support Officer role will provide an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a wide range of areas. The nature of the role is suited to someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, who can identify how best to assist their teams and who is interested in identifying and solving complex problems.
As a Research Support Officer the main activities you will be involved in are:
You will be part of the Research Management Office and you will work closely with several Faculty Team Leaders, the other members of the Research Management Office, and the EBI and EMBL administration. You will support Teams within the EMBL-EBI Services that develop and maintain resources such as Ensembl, UniProt, Expression Atlas and Europe PMC.
