We are currently looking for a highly skilled and motivated postdoc to join our multidisciplinary project on polygenic risk scores, Alzheimer’s disease and neuroinflammation (see Sierksma et al. 2020 EMBO Mol Med; Escott-Price et al. 2017 Ann Neurol).
In this project, we will assess how new insights from the genetics of Alzheimer’s disease, including polygenic risk, can aid in understanding the molecular and cellular basis for Alzheimer etiopathogenesis. The candidate will use human iPS cells both in vitro and in vivo using xenografted mouse models of Alzheimer’s disease (see Mancuso et al. 2019 Nat Neurosci) to gain further insight.
